Cedar Park Elementary offers Sheltered Instruction for English learners. In some cases, the Multilingual (ML) teacher and Instructional Assistant will push-in to work with students in the classroom, and at other times they will pull-out students to work in small groups.

ML teachers and classroom teachers collaborate to offer the most appropriate support with instruction strategies to help English learners in Math, Science, Reading and Writing. Formative assessments in the form of exit tickets, checklists, and rubrics are aligned with Common Core ELA and ELD Standards.
