Cedar Park Elementary Library's three part mission includes reading advocacy, information literacy, and social/emotional literacy .

READING ADVOCACY – to nurture a lifelong love of reading across a range of genres

INFORMATION LITERACY – to empower students to locate, use & produce information critically, effectively, and responsibly

Social/Emotional LITERACY – to build self-awareness, compassion, and global citizenship through reflective reading and critical inquiry


Cedar Park Elementary Library serves the pre-K through 5th grade students at Cedar Park Elementary.

Program Goals

Goals include inspiring lifelong readers, developing critical thinkers, and nurturing compassionate global citizens.

In addition to supplying students with armfuls of books to love, our library program will offer robust support for our classrooms' expeditionary themes via targeted resources, research guidance, and technology tools to inspire creative project development.
