Cedar Park Student Invitation Guidelines

Cedar Park Faculty and Staff recognize that important friendships are made between school mates and encourages families to nurture those friendships that they feel are valuable for their children. Celebrations of special events, like birthdays, helps grow and cement those friendships.

Inclusivity is an important part of Cedar Park’s core values. For this reason, we ask families not to send their student to school with invitations to pass out to friends during the school day. This practice easily leads to hurt feelings by those not invited.

Instead, contact the school office directly at cedarpark@seattleschools.org with a list of the students you would like to invite and the details you would like to share about the event. The office will send that information and your contact details to the parents of the students invited.
